TWO DROWN IN POWAI LAKE
Two people drowned in Powai Lake in separate incidents on Wednesday. One victim’s body was found the same day, while the second body was retrieved from the lake on Thursday afternoon.

According to the police, the two drownings took place around 4.30pm and 9.30 pm on Wednesday. The body of Ajay Sanjay Bot, 18, was recovered at 7.30 pm on Wednesday and taken to Holy Spirit Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
The Body of the second victim, Chaitanya Raghunath Dhirange, 31, was found around 1 pm on Thursday. He was taken to MT Agrawal Hospital in Mulund, where doctors said he was brought dead.
